We’re excited to announce that Algorithmia has been selected as a CB Insights AI 100 company. This prestigious list is comprised of a select group of the 100 most promising companies breaking ground on artificial intelligence algorithms and technology.
“Our goal with Algorithmia is to build the standard API where algorithms, functions, and models are discoverable and accessible to everyone,” Diego Oppenheimer said, founder and CEO of Algorithmia.
The CB Insights team selected the AI 100 winners based on a combination of data, responses to interview questions, and the CB Insights Mosaic Score – an algorithm used to measure the health of private companies.
“From financial services to healthcare to transport, incumbent companies in every industry are seeing that AI will reshape their industries,” Anand Sanwal said, CB Insights CEO. “And as so often happens, transformational innovation comes from emerging companies. In the case of AI, a lot of the groundbreaking work is being done by the AI 100. Only 6% of the more than 1,650 companies nominated for the AI 100 were selected.
