[ "This camera fully met my expectations for an affordable, long zoom camera. Prior to purchasing this camera I had been using the camera on my cell phone. While my cell phone takes decent pictures, it does not have any optical zoom. I can digitally zoom a little bit with it but those pictures look blurry. I got this camera primarily for it's 28x optical zoom. This really gives you the ability to take pictures that just aren't possible with the cell phone. I can get more people in an indoor shoot because the lens is a wider angle than on my cell phone camera and with the 28x optical zoom it opens up a whole new world, especially for outdoor shoots. l also like that it uses regular AA batteries which are available just about everywhere. At a price of less than $200 it is an excellent value.", "I ordered this at Target online on Black Friday with free shipping and I am happy to say that I love it. I've only had it a couple of days, but I've been taking numerous types of pictures to try it out and I love it. I have searched and searched and searched for a camera that takes good pictures up close AND far away, for a decent price. I've went through many that were under $100 and they were crap. I paid right at $100 for this camera (before tax and warranty) and I think that is a steal for the quality of pictures that it takes. It's no professional camera, but when you go from an iPhone camera to this, it feels like you are a professional! I am 100% satisfied with the camera, the quality of pictures it takes, and how quickly the camera actually takes the pictures (there is no lag). Those were my main three concerns when purchasing this camera and I am very happy with my purchase.", "I tested the Nikon Coolpix L340, this is an excellent 20 mega pixel camera, with a very good 28x Zoom, and really very little color distortion around the edges, focus speed fairly quickly although the macro focus can sometimes be over 5 seconds, Its very user friendly compared to the previous and cheaper L330 http://amzn.to/20IqO79PRO:The lens has an OISThe sensor takes great low light photos and videosThe autofocus speed (but macro autofocus is slow)The ISO 80 to 400 produces very usable photosUses standard SD memory cards, I recommend a Class 10 from transcend http://amzn.to/1GU60mSCONS:28x optical zoom produces moderate levels of chromatic aberration around the edges (when at 28x).HD 1280x720 (720p) resolution, 1080p expected when most current smatphones are able to.Very basic controls, (but might be just enough for most)Above ISO 400 the noise increased in the images, they look sharper but with noticeably noise. This camera uses 4 AA batteries, I particularly use the second gen Eneloop batteries from Panasonic, Out of a full charge I can get over 300 shots, the third gen is out I’m sure you might get more pictures out of them http://amzn.to/1M3TJLlYou cant go wrong with this camera, for the price you get a 20MP camera, 28X zoom and the convenience of using standard batteries and memories", "I bought this camera from my local store. I was not expected too much because price is cheap. Here are some of my pictures I took with this camera. I'm happy with it.", "Great camera for the price. Easy to use and produces quality pictures.", "For the price, this does really good for me. I'm still getting used to the point and shooting. I'm so used to manually setting my cameras that it's challenging to work with. But it still shoots good enough for me. I'm using my dog as a model. Lol!! Good camera if you know how to focus it...idk. One thing I have an issue with is having to take the lens cover off to look through my pictures.", "Since the beginning of this year, I've been wanting to try photography. As usual, I spent around 2 weeks trying to decide which camera I should buy. This camera came up with a great resolution and low price. Absolutely love it, because it is so simply, and it gives you the feel of a dslr because of the size and shape. The pros in this product were:-Low Price-Great resolution (20.2 megapixels)- Compact enough to travel around with it-A magnificent zoom (28x)- The many pre-established scenarios were they adjust the ISO and the white balance. The only con I could come up was that you can't manually adjust the shutter speed of the camera, only the ISO and White balance, but I still believe it is a bang for your buck. Would recommend it to anybody who wants to start photography and doesn't want to spend $300+ on a DSLR.I added a picture I took when I went to a beach some time ago.", "Takes great pictures, easy to use all at a good price", "takes great pics and has an awesome zoom capability for the price. Love it!", "Great camera! Takes wonderful photos and the quality is awesome. I'm still figuring out all the settings and whatnot, but so far I've had no issues. For the price, I think this camera is well worth it and performs great. The zoom on the camera is amazing and is one of the main reasons why I bought the camera. The only gripe I have is that the bottom part of the camera, where the batteries and memory card are housed, can be a little tricky to open and close. However, this is just my opinion. I am always overly careful when opening the bottom since I don't want to break the camera, so I think it could just be that I'm still adjusting to this part of the camera haha.I've attached a few images that I've taken with the camera so far, I've only had it for about 3 weeks." ]
