Fifty 16 oz plumb bobs are suspended from the ceiling on strings of uniform length. Variations in the final hanging heights are determined by the interior dimensions of the screw eye from which the plum bobs hang, as well as the forces of gravity and friction exerted as the plumb bobs rest against one another.
